Welcome back to the Legend Legacy! In the last chapter, Miach had a cheeky little affair with his high school crush, but no-one else in the family knows about it. Will he be able to keep it that way?

First, lets join Minerva engaged in a more wholesome activity than clandestine bathroom makeout sessions. Fishing! Her main occupation in her retirement is trying to complete the fish collection for the Legends.

This also gives Minerva a chance to take Meaghan and Miach's eldest, Inari, to the park to work on her aspiration.

Yaretzi, Mabon and Jewel's second child, has also grown up and is around the same age as Inari. Inari met her as a toddler but I'm hoping they can really enjoy each other's company now.

While only three of Minerva's grandchildren are eligible for the heirship, she's done better than most Legend elders at being involved with the spare's children as well.
After finishing at the park, it's off to Henford-on-Bagley, where her two eldest grandchildren, Jayda and Herbert, live with parents Bailey and Gwydion. Jayda is really pretty, huh! Minerva also meets Eleanor, the nanny that ships with Growing Together, and they immediately hit it off.

Also a llama. Gotta say hi to the llama.

Minerva has rolled a want to find a new relationship, and I wonder if Eleanor might be a candidate? She had a long and happy marriage with Bernard, who has since died, but seven children (and the aging freeze that comes with pregnancy) on top of a completed body builder aspiration means she's going to be around for a while. It might be nice for her to re-partner.

Minerva finishes up her visit to Henford-on-Bagley by teaching Jayda how to fish. I'm not sure that this is this teenager's particular dream, but it's a nice attempt at bonding!

At home. Meaghan is working on fabrication for work.

In between caring for Kami, the youngest.

And baking cakes. It's someone's birthday soon!

Adorable Fujin has had a relaxed toddlerhood, and still managed to get his skills to at least three. Not top-notch, but pretty good.

Sure enough, still cute! I see a lot of Miach in him in terms of his features, and he has Miach's blue eyes with Meaghan's blonde hair. He rolls Active as his first permanent trait, further taking after his Dad.

Cake for breakfast. I'm jealous, tbh.

Meanwhile, Kami is doing cute infant things.

I think Kami is probably going to be Minerva's last grandchild, unless Jewel and Mabon or Morrigan and Kareem pop out another surprise one. Minerva is making the most of her time with Kami, for sure.

Mabon and Balor pop around one afternoon to meet the youngest Legend.

Miach takes advantage of an extremely involved grandparent to get out for a run.

He also takes advantage of the free childcare to take his wife out for dinner. It looks like Miach has decided to move past the little fling with Emmet and recommit to his family.

Minerva not only gets Kami to bed for them, but also supervises homework for Inari and Fujin.

Fujin gets to meet Bruno, from way back in Generation Four, over dinner before he heads to bed.

Inari finishes her evening by losing a tooth!

This doesn't slow Inari down though. There's a last hot day in the late autumn, and she takes the opportunity to use the water slide out the back of the Legacy lot.

Then winter is here, and she and cousin Yaretzi head to the Festival of Youth.

This is another great opportunity for playing and getting to know new friends.

At home, the last infant of the generation is finishing up a couple of food-related milestones before her birthday.

Then she's a toddler! Kami keeps her textured hair and gets some very cute pigtails with bright orange baubles, which inspires her outfits.

She's a playful, good-tempered toddler and, as with all her grandchildren, Minerva is smitten.

It's snowing heavily on Winterfest for the Legends. They like to have the extended family over for holidays, so let's hope there's not a repeat of the disastrous social event in the winter that killed Flora, Minerva's sister, a while back.

Happily, by the time the family drops around, the snow has stopped and it's a perfect winter wonderland to play in. Fujin and Yaretzi get to work on some Snowpals.

Fujin also has a gift for his older cousin, Nathaneal.

Inside, the adults are exchanging hugs and holiday greetings. That's Herbert on the left, Miach and Meaghan's oldest nephew, and Luna's partner Serenity on the right.

They enjoy a grand meal for dinner, followed by cake (making a dent in the growing collection) for dessert. Inari needed a nap by this point!

Earlier, Meaghan and her two older children had decorated the tree. It was a lovely Winterfest, very family-focused, and everyone had a great time.

Kami was too young to really know what was happening, but Meaghan still made sure to spend some quality time with their youngest after Fujin and Inari were in bed.

There hasn't been much of Meaghan's magic in this chapter, but she continues to chip away at it. She's no potions master but she can whip up a passable brew these days. All of her children have the ancient bloodline trait, but I'm not sure yet whether any of them will end up becoming witches or spellcasters. I have a feeling Inari, at least, has different ideas.

Finally, we end the chapter with a couple more birthdays. First, Meaghan joins Miach in adulthood after her pregnancy-related age pause.

Then it's Inari's turn! I can't believe the oldest Gen 8 kids are teenagers already.

And here she is! Isn't she cool?! Inari celebrates her entry into adolescence by dying her hair purple, overhauling her look, and rolling Goofball to go with Child of the Ocean. Already, she's dreaming of becoming a mermaid and moving to Sulani - as much as I love her, she's unlikely to be the heiress simply because she wants a different life.
And that's the end of the chapter! Will Miach continue his reformed ways as a dedicated family man, or will temptation prove to great again? Will Minerva find love for a second time? Tune in next time to find out!
