Spring 2 - The Pleasants
Pleasant - Spring 2

Well, that looks a little warmer than last season! Winter was snowy in the city for Lilith in her last rotation, but we rejoin her on a beautiful, sunny spring morning in the Arts Quarter of San Myshuno.

And she's not alone. After Lou ended their relationship to be with his fated werewolf mate, Rory Oaklow, Angela decided to leave Evergreen Harbour and move back in with her twin. Lilith, despite really leaning into her evilness, was happy to have Angela around. The two sisters got into more arguments and had more moments of conflict this season, but managed to retain a generally good relationship despite their differences.

What was previously Lilith's spare room is quickly given a makeover by Angela, switching out the bright red, black and grey for soft pastels and her yoga mat in the corner.

Angela then celebrates her relocation to the Arts Quarter by painting a mural on the city streets, while Lilith gets into a fight behind her. In many ways, she's far more suited than her sister to this area and apartment - a respected art critic and successful artist in her own right, it's the perfect location for her.

Lilith can intimidate and bully people anywhere, really, but she enjoys the easy access to victims afforded to her by a bustling city!

She takes herself out to the Humor and Hijinks festival for a celebratory drink. Another enemy acquired, and her (terrible) reputation remains intact.

The fireworks feel appropriate to her mood!

Back at the apartment, having her sister living with her proves to have benefits, as the stove gets used for the very first time since Lilith moved in.

However, although there's a competent cook in the household now, neither of them are any good with a wrench, so hired repair workers it is.

It's not handiness, but Lilith has found herself a hobby. Poking around on the internet one day, she followed a few dubious links down a digital rabbit hole and found herself learning all about vampires. Which were apparently very real, and walking among them. Given her sister's ex-boyfriend is a werewolf, this wasn't too much of a surprise to Lilith.

She wasn't surprised, but she was intrigued. Something about being young and beautiful forever was very appealing to a gorgeous, evil gal, and she ordered some books and started a journey of discovery.

She wasn't half-assing it, either. Lilith did some digging into potential vampire families that might be able to be tracked down and actually talked to in person. Before she tried that, though, she wanted to make sure she could impress whoever she found. Learning to play the pipe organ seemed like an appropriately grim, gloomy, dramatic choice - there was supposed to be an eccentric older man living in a sunless town who loved music, and Lilith thought he could be a candidate to introduce herself to one day.
Check out Angela grimacing her way through breakfast as Lilith plunks and plonks on the organ, before heading to her normal job in her vampire-free existence. They're very different people!

While Angela is at work, Lilith takes herself to her favourite gym in Oasis Springs.

She then enjoys a grilled meal (thanks, random stranger) out the front of the gym, looking out over the desert.

Johnny is hanging out with Angela in Lilith's room, while Angela borrows Lilith's computer, when Lilith gets home from the gym.

The three of them catch a movie (and eat caramel corn in Lilith's case).

Then, after Angela headed to bed, Lilith and Johnny enjoyed a very tense video gaming session.

Lilith is a night owl, and also has her shifts at night (as one might expect for a getaway driver), but Angela is very much a morning person. Since moving into the apartment, she starts every morning with a spot of yoga. It's very wholesome.

Lilith's mornings, when they start, look more like this.

Though she likes a bit of activity when she gets up too - in her case, kicking a ball around with Salim Benali, her good-looking neighbour and occasional friend with benefits.

Lilith's friends have been taking the opportunity to confide in Angela, it seems. Salem makes his way into her room while Lilith grabs a shower.
"See, the thing is, I think I like her? What do I do?"
"Salim, is it? Honestly, she's a no-strings-attached type of person. You should probably just enjoy yourself while it lasts."

Lilith is amused when she joins them.
"Angela is right. Here for a good time, not a long time. That's okay, right?"

Seems to be fine!

Inspired by her sister's active love life, Angela decides it's time to put herself back out there. It takes several flirty texts and a suggestive email, but eventually Kenichi, the hot mailman from her old building in Evergreen Harbour, gets the hint and asks her on a date.

It starts pleasantly enough, but Kenichi soon admits there's a reason he took so long to ask Angela out.
"The thing is Angela...I'm not interested in you like that. I'm really, very much only into guys."
"You're gay?" Angela stared for a moment. "So why did you ask me out?!"
"I actually really just wanted to get to know you better. Maybe be friends? You seemed cool."

"Oh. Well, you could have just said that! But no matter, sure, let's hang. I'd love to be friends."

Nothing cements a friendship like the one-two step in an otherwise empty nightclub in the middle of the afternoon.

After Kenichi heads home, Angela treats herself to a glass of wine. It might not have been the perfect romantic day, but Kenichi was a nice guy and Angela thought he'd be a great friend. She'd have to keep looking for love!

Lilith, while looking for something quite different to her sister, is having more luck. Loario, her sometimes lover and friend from university, agrees to join her at the Spice Festival.

The Spice Festival is also a good time for other types of recreation within Lilith's range of interests.

Lilith ends her evening with some basketball. Can't keep an active Sim from activity for long!

Then she's off to her late night shift, driving cars away from crime scenes. It's quite the life Lilith's got for herself!

The final morning of the spring for the Pleasant's is a final chance for Angela. She's out getting breakfast at a street food stall when she bumps into a very handsome, very flirty stranger.

His name is Faiz Jaheel, and all Angela knows about him is he wears a flower in his buttonhole and introduced himself while complimenting her. It's only a start, but a promising one!

And that brings us to the end of this rotation for the Pleasant sisters. Angela and Lilith are back together, at least for now, and while they might be living very different lives I'm really enjoying having them back under the same roof.
