Welcome back to 101 Disney Babies! In the last chapter, a milestone of some importance was reached when eldest son Simba reached young adulthood and moved out, and in doing so officially ticked off the successful raising of Baby #1 of this 101 Baby Challenge. The younger boys engaged in various shenanigans, Cinderella was mostly absent from the chapter, and Snow gave birth to a second daughter called Mim.

I'd like to kick off this chapter by showing off the first real house upgrade of this whole challenge. While most of the previous upgrades have consisted of bits and pieces, Snow had scraped together enough money from gardening and a tiny bit of writing to go all out on a kid's bedroom. This currently belongs to Fergus and Florian, and is where the overly large dining room used to be. I walled it off, and once we save up, there's still loads of space for a dining table and probably even to make this room bigger and add a third bed.

There was sadly no money left for anything else though, which is why the corner of the lounge the babies live in is dark and sad in comparison. However, as babies are objects and not fully functioning Sims, they seem to not mind.

And don't these boys deserve a nice room? This is the other half of the room that has now been turned into their bedroom, so as you can see, still loads of space. Enough to work on school projects together, very sweetly.

Florian and Fergus are pretty close, actually, and also it's Winterfest again!

Um...Snow?
Snow: what?
Is that Clement Frost, aka Father Winter, aka Sims Santa Claus?
Snow: yes, what of it?
The same Clement Frost you sucker punched for not giving Simba a gift once?
Snow: the very same. We reconciled.
Is that also your son asleep in bed behind you?
Snow: it is, yes.

Well. I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus, indeed.

I saw her doing a heck of a lot more than kissing Santa Claus. Nice pants, Clement.

At least he made himself useful before he slunk back up the chimney. I'll hand it to Snow - assuming she does get pregnant, because she only had time for one go at it, she has picked the most interesting range of donors!

The end of Winterfest also heralds another important birthday...almost without me realising it, Kristoff is becoming a Young Adult! There was a bigger gap between him and Florian than I remembered. Kristoff was an A student as a teen, although he didn't advance in his part time job at all.

Kristoff rolled Cat Lover as his final trait. I'm afraid I wasn't nearly as involved with making sure Kristoff got off to a good start in life as I was with Simba - he had no high school romances beyond a brief flirtation with mystery boy in the park, and this despite sharing Snow's Big Happy Family aspiration. I feel sort of bad about it, but he had so little of the ground work done I decided he'd just have to sort his life out on his own.

Snow took a quick selfie with him, then he moved out and was on his way. I hope he partners up with someone and has some kids.

I didn't entirely abandon him, however. He actually had a good relationship with one kid from school, so when I discovered said kid was a young adult and living in the SWANKIEST gosh darn apartment you ever did see, of course it made total sense for Kristoff to take the other room, right? He has moved UP in the world, after a childhood barely above the poverty line! I also nipped over once I'd settled him in and had him quickly adopt a very cute kitten called Gucci, in honor of his Cat Lover trait.
He earned us a total of 7 points in my personal point scoring, not quite nabbing Happy Toddler but getting an A in school both as a child and as a teen, plus managing to grow up with the Responsible trait.
Farewell and good luck, Kristoff!

Back home, we roll right into Mim's toddler birthday! Might have been nice to have a teenager around to help out, actually...
Anyway, Mim is SO cute. Possibly the cutest toddler so far. She inherited Darrel's freckles, and her eyes, while not the lovely pale pink his were, are a very interesting reddish colour. She is also a spellcaster, like Dad was. I say was, because Darrel had died by this point - he really was very elderly when he met Snow, and said meeting might have finished him off.
I took this picture pre-makeover, which I don't normally do...rest assured she received a pink and purple selection of outfits, to honour Mad Madam Mim's delightful colour scheme. She rolled Angelic for her trait.

Angelic wee Mim seems less than impressed with Snow's eggs and bacon as her first meal of non-object life, though.

Snow attempts to appease her with story time.

It doesn't work.
Snow: Angelic my left butt cheek. By the way, I'm a level 10 parent. Can you tell?

In happier news...I think Snow's Winterfest adult fun time was a success!
Snow: happier for who?! *barfs*
Mim, pooping: :o

Despite everything, including no longer having any teens in the house, Snow really is a good Mum. I wish she had a bit more time to write to earn money, but otherwise, she does a fabulous job considering all the cooking, cleaning and repairing that a cheaply furnished house and four children demand.

Florian is not a teen for a little while yet, but he's already very sweet with Mim.

Pictured: an attempt to do a bit better with Florian's social life than I did with Kristoff's. This is a friend from school called Tianna, and they spend an afternoon happily making snowmen together.

Oh look, though - a little of that aforementioned writing! Snow really doesn't get to do this much and is still on writing children's books. She makes less than $10 in royalties per pay check. Still, when she can, it's worth plugging away at.

She can't resist any invitation from Simba and Elena to go and visit though. This time she takes Cinderella and Mim with her, as well as the two older boys, Florian and Fergus.

Snow announces her latest pregnancy to Elena, who knows better than to ask any questions about the father. I'd hoped Elena might be pregnant again, but alas, no such luck.

She has given birth to Simba's son, though, and Snow's first grandchild! His name is Bernardo, and he's a) really stinking cute and b) wildly popular with his aunt, uncles, and grandmother Supriya, despite the whole Justin situation. Justin had passed away by this visit, finally, although Supriya is still around. Holding Bernardo is Evie, Simba's half-sister.

Bernardo meets Cinderella, which is adorable, who is his aunt (being another of Simba's half-sisters, this time on Snow's side
), which is confusing.

Of course, Snow also announces her latest pregnancy to Simba, who because this is the Sims is excited for her instead of horrified. Though if she told him about Father Winter's involvement he might be more perturbed.

While there, it's Florian's birthday so Snow takes the chance to celebrate at Simba's instead of waiting until they're home. No one seems to mind her baking a cake and then getting freakishly overexcited.
Snow: a teenager! Someone to fix the damn sink apart from me! Someone to bathe toddlers!

Florian grows up to look a little like Kristoff, but some facial hair helps differentiate them. He has a super weird body shape, which doesn't really reflect Snow nor Johnny Zest so far as I can remember, but hey, some people are weirdly shaped I guess. He loves music, and continues the family aspiration theme by wanting a Successful Lineage.

Back home, the next day, birthdays keep coming and I am relieved to have one less toddler in the house. Cinderella rolls outgoing as her first permanent trait, and wants to be an Artistic Prodigy! It's nice to have something other than Social Butterfly, but we don't own an activity table, so I wait with bated breath to see if we can afford one in time. I think she's really pretty, and she gets a fancy hairstyle as befitting our first Disney princess.

Meanwhile, Mim continues to be just so cute. I love her.

Kristoff also drops by for a visit, giving a heavily pregnant Snow the chance to give him a key, as she will for all of her children once they grow up and move out.

Meanwhile Fergus, who we haven't seen very much of, is just bopping around being chill. I like this kid. He never causes trouble and stands out as the only redhead. I should really work harder on his aspiration (he's another social butterfly). He also manages to get an A in school!

Why so sad, Snow?
Snow: in labour again. Also, what is up with my boobs? I look like I've stuffed two melons down my shirt.
And...hilariously, I took exactly zero pictures of the babies until they became toddlers. But yes...babies! Our first twins of the challenge!
Clement Frost, dear old Santa Claus himself, really delivered. Ha, get it? Delivered? So many puns wrapped up in there. If you have babies with Father Winter they have some special traits apparently, not that they'll be any use in a 100 Baby Challenge, but that's kind of cool.

Since the twins were fathered by Santa, it seemed only fitting to choose a Disney movie in which Santa is featured as a character for name inspiration. There's not all that many from the animated library (Rise of the Guardians is from Dreamworks, not Disney), but of course Santa plays a large role in one of my favourite movies of all time, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Helpfully, Snow had both a boy and a girl, so they are called Jack and Sally, after the Bone Daddy himself and his sweet zombie love interest. This also makes Sally the current heiress.

And immediately after the twins are born Snow hurls them both into daycare and escapes to the park with Cinderella, Fergus and Mim. She invites Simba and Kristoff to join them, though Florian is at his part time job.

Cinderella uses the opportunity to jump onto an activity table, since we still don't have one at home.

And Snow watches on proudly as Fergus makes friends. I doubt I'll finish this aspiration with him either, but it never hurts to try I suppose.

Unfortunately Fergus chooses this moment to enter a new 'phase': I actually love this, it's such a quirky little addition to the game. I suspect he will remain largely in bear form for the remainder of his childhood.

It doesn't stop him from trying to make more friends, though I can't imagine that many kids want to hang out with the weirdo in the strawberry bear costume.

Snow herself manages to meet this hipster beardy fellow, and enjoys a game of chess. Future donor?
Snow: aw, he hates children.
Does it matter? He doesn't have to raise them.
Snow: he has to tolerate being in my house long enough to conceive one. No, I'll keep looking.
Sigh. Fine.

Mim: *is cute*

Finished with her drawing, Cinderella chats with Kristoff for a bit, while Simba is weirded out by Fergus in the background.
Fergus: I'm a bear!
Simba: ...okay.
All in all, a successful trip to the park.

The family arrive home to find Florian back from his job and flirting with Lilith on the porch. I guess he didn't miss out on the fun completely!

Life cannot all be making eyes at the undead, though. Florian fulfills his mother's every hope and wish for her teenage children, by helping with the younger kids so she can get something else done.

In this case, fishing. Good for collections AND food.

Interestingly, Kristoff phones later and invites just Fergus over to his apartment. Fergus, of course, is still a bear. Kristoff makes him burgers and they hang with his roommate. It's pretty cool.

And, just like that, it's the twin's birthdays! Just like that because, as I said before, I didn't take one single baby picture of them. Sally and Jack both inherit Snow's black hair (Clement possibly has black hair too, actually), but Clement's light blue eyes! I'm so delighted with them, they're adorable. Sally grew up with the wild trait and is dressed in muted colours, while Jack is clingy, and dressed strictly in black and white like his namesake.

The toddler corner remains the most popular place in the house for many activities, including homework. And yes, we now have three toddlers in the house and only two beds. This should be fun!

The kiddos are all pretty good, though, getting stuck into their school projects once Monday rolls around.

I wonder how many of these will get broken by tantruming toddlers?

Fergus, you're not a bear!
Fergus: yeah. I'm sad about it though :(

Snow: alright Jacky, time to learn to talk.
Jack: *suspicious*

Snow: can you say Christmas?

Jack: Daddy!
Snow: ...yep. Christmas is daddy.

Fergus was back in his bear costume sharpish after finishing his project. Cinderella is filthy for some reason. Both are chatting with Jack about how Santa is his Dad, probably.

They're a cute family, though. Even if...unconventional.

Finally, Snow can't resist another visit to Simba when he invites her. He calls most days either to chat or ask her to visit, and she loves living so close to him and being able to swing by. He seems really happy, and is really connected with his family on Justin's side.

He's also very sweet with Bernardo...sadly Elena still isn't pregnant again, I checked.

Nonetheless, Snow adores her little grandson.

He has the same wild hair as Mim, though not for much longer! We finish this chapter with a final birthday (there's been a lot!).

Welcome to childhood, Mim! I find it really hard to judge how kids are going to look when they're older, but I think Mim is going to be pretty and also quite interesting. I often try to stick with the hair colours the Sims grow up with in my Sims games, because the genetics are fun, but for this challenge I decided if I feel like giving Sims slightly more extensive makeovers in honour of their namesakes I can. Hence...pink hair, which is the closest to the character of Mim (and possible thanks to a genetic coloured hair mod). Mim wants to be a social butterfly (of course she does) but is also a loner so...make up your mind, girl?

Anyway, final baby count below!
