Chapter 14: The Nightmare of Glitches
Welcome back to 101 Disney Babies! In the last chapter Sally, the youngest of Snow's daughters (of which she had only three, the other ten were boys) officially took over as matriarch of the challenge, and promptly showed up with a pregnancy to Noe Fabulous. Facilier grew a terrible moustache, Sally gave birth to her first child (of course she can have a girl no problem), and the family moved to Forgotten Hollow.

Sally: why hello there, neighbour!
Caleb: you moved next door?
BC: oh yes Caleb Vatore, the shoe is on the other stalker-ish foot! This time, someone has followed YOU to your doorstep!

Only instead of your blood she wants...a different bodily fluid.

Which Sally acquired without great difficulty. Caleb has been hanging around the Whites for a while now, so no surprises there. He even let them use his bed, since there sure as hell isn't any privacy back home.

Luckily there is a very useful grandmother with level 10 parenting at said home, so while Sally is off having adult fun time, Snow is doing the bulk of the child rearing of Sally's firstborn, Marie.
Snow: I used to have a lot of adult fun time, you know.
Marie: ?

Now she mostly gets to look after kids and fix toilets. Poor Snow. Your retirement is coming, I swear. I used MCCC to triple the length of the elder stage AND I'm going to give her a potion. Once her youngest child, Hiro, is a YA, she'll finally be allowed to move out, retire, and hopefully find one last man to have as much elderly adult fun time as she likes.

It seems Cinderella just couldn't face going back to her childhood home, because she started dropping by regularly once the family moved.

Charming, meanwhile, continued to quietly excel in every way, quickly getting an A in school and building manners and responsibility with very little input from me or any Sim adult. I wish I could have him for my ISBI!

I can also never say no to Mim, and she phones Barley, her fellow Spellcaster sibling, pretty regularly to ask him to duel. He loses every time but I don't mind, I just like seeing Mim <3 I'm planning on saving her to my Gallery in case anyone wants to ship her into their game. I think you can find me at AvariceSims, I'll try to remember to include it in an update on Boolprop.

This is it Snow, one step closer to sweet, sweet retirement. Hiro is growing up!

And following a makeover, this is the closest I could get to his Disney namesake. He took after his father, Masaru, a lot more than many of Snow's kids. Hiro is adventurous and rolled the Creative aspiration. I'm only 13 kids in and I'm ready to beg EA for more child aspirations at this point. He managed to get the happy toddler trait, but was a couple of skill points off top notch toddler.

I wanted a nice shot of Sally for a banner image so have a random pretty picture of her in Forgotten Hollow at night. Not the one I ended up using, but it's rather lovely.

I actually used a close up version of this, but I also like this picture. Forgotten Hollow is really gorgeous in winter.

Speaking of winter, another Winterfest has rolled around. The family play along and decorate their spooky house in something other than Halloween decorations.

And on Winterfest, Sally starts showing - she's pregnant again, to Caleb Vatore!

Facilier: no one is helping me :(
BC: yeah I don't really like you...can't you be like Charming and take better care of yourself though?

Snow, grandmother extraordinaire, diligently gave presents to all her children, and none of them registered for the holiday challenges so they all had a shit Winterfest.

Even Charming, the only one to nab something from Father Winter, didn't have any luck registering those holiday challenges. Boo, I hate glitches!

I also failed to register Super Parent Mode for Snow, despite spamming parent interactions on Charming for a while. He now knows how to say please and thank you, as well as sorry, but no progress on Snow's super parent aspiration. Sigh.

I should cut Facilier some slack. He's doing pretty good at his job. But I like Barley way better.

Occasionally, Sally takes care of her own child. Amazing!

She's having a rough time with this pregnancy though, which I hope means there's a little baby vampire brewing.

Once she's done puking, an attempt to collect more crystals and things at Oasis Park also fails, but instead she meets a few new men. She actually has quite a selection lined up for the future now. This handsome fellow is someone Bennett, and as far as I can tell isn't related to her or anyone her Mum already banged.
So yeah, glitchy gameplay this time around, as no collectibles were spawning anywhere. A problem when you're working on the Curator aspiration. She's just collecting 25 different things though and frogs count, and were spawning as normal, so she's making progress still.

Back home, Remy, who moved out last chapter, swings by for his first visit and Sally greets him warmly. She's only in her undies, but you do you, zombie girl.

As is traditional, even the weird mouse boy gets a key.

Kristoff was also visiting - Snow's second eldest, and now an elder! Hopefully he lasts longer than Simba did now I've set the elder stage much longer.

Ah Mim. Can you tell how much I want to keep her around? Darrel Charm is a funny Sim, but I've loved several of his kids with my legacy and challenge Sims. Anyway, she invited Snow to the Spice Festival, and Snow rounded up a random selection of her offspring and went along happily.

The three girls of Snow's reign as matriarch; Sally, Cinderella, and Mim.
BC: Sally, should you be drinking that?
Sally: the fetus is a vampire probably, meaning it's immortal and I'm allowed to drink, that's just how it works when you get pregnant to a really hot vampire guy

Snow: cut her some slack, being a 100 Baby matriarch isn't a walk in the park you know.
Said as she is quite literally walking in the park.

The best part of the Spice Festival is the free food. Sally is actually bringing in decent moolah from her collecting, and Snow from royalties, but the family are still not exactly flush.

Florian is here of his own accord, so Sally shares her news with her older brother. Aww.

Back home, Charming continues to unexpectedly excel and is the first challenge baby to complete a second childhood aspiration! He's pretty close to his birthday so I don't bother giving him another.

He just seemed like a chocolate cake kind of guy.

Goodness, he's so handsome! He definitely looks like Snow's kid, in that you can see some resemblance to Simba and Kristoff, but there's a little of his father Roberto in there too. Sadly, he's not an alien, but he does actually look a bit like his namesake Prince Charming. I'm rather taken with him despite not spending much time on him because he excelled so much during childhood. Appropriately, he wants to be a mansion baron (castle, anyone)? Less appropriately, he is a freegan.

Just had to show you his extremely Disney Prince formal outfit.

Around this time Snow got attacked by bees and it was hilarious. The house has the creepy crawlies lot challenge.

Sally: uh oh, here we go again.
Snow: I'll come with you to the hospital to make sure I don't end up like Macaulay Culkin in My Girl.

Sally: so, just out of interest, does this hospital hire any living people these days?

Ariel Goth, ghost and also Dad of Facilier: actually ghosts make excellent doctors, ectoplasm is naturally sterile.

It's a girl! Yes, for real. Snow could have nothing but boys but Sally is fixing that legacy. Meet little Stitch!

Stitch is the alien protagonist of Lilo and Stitch, and yes, I probably could have saved the name for an alien baby, but Disney doesn't really have any vampire characters (I'm not counting one show I've never seen or heard of). Stitch at least has fangs, plus is blue, and baby Stitch inherited Sally's skin tone so we might as well make the most of it! Stitch is the fifteenth baby of the challenge.
Very quickly the household goes on as normal. Teenagers are roped into helping with younger kids, and Sally's butt cheeks photo bomb. The girl doesn't like pants. What can I say...me neither.
Barley does get some time to garden as spring approaches though. I wasn't going to plant a garden at this house but he needs gardening skill for work, so why not.

Finally, we'll round off this chapter with one last birthday.

It's time for Marie to grow up, and yes, her last act as a toddler was to swipe a piece of her first birthday cake, giving herself a sugar rush and requiring Sally to bake another one. Is this a sign of things to come?

It just might be...she's hot-headed, which actually fits the cat she's named after pretty well. She wants to be a social butterfly. Marie has a lot of Sally in her eyes, but I'm hoping Noe's genes might come through in her mouth. Either way, she has very pretty pink hair. Like Hiro, she managed to get happy toddler but not top notch toddler.
And that brings us to the end of another chapter! 101 Disney Babies was nominated for a Golden Plumbob in the Common Challenges category, so thanks to the person who nominated it! I'm delighted there's people out there reading it and enjoying it.
