avaricesims Welcome back to 101 Disney Babies! In the last chapter, Snow had yet another boy, who doubled down on the disappointment by showing absolutely zero alien traits despite having an alien daddy. Mim, who very sadly will not be the heiress, got herself a hot girlfriend, and Snow pregnant-ly cared for her other kids as per usual.
We start this chapter with Snow, who decided to change back into her hospital gown for reasons unknown to everyone but herself, greeting a visiting Cinderella and giving her a key to the house so she can visit whenever she wants. Unlike all of Snow's other children she never did visit, and in fact later in the chapter Snow was unable to invite her to a social event, so we're going to headcanon that her fame and fortune has gone to her head and she's now much too famous to bother with her provincial, weird, baby-churning-out family.
Fair enough tbqh.
Anyway, despite the various disappointments, Snow at least is quite smitten with Charming.
The other kids are making progress too. Sally, current heiress-in-waiting, has a job as a barista before school each morning, and Jack got a job in retail, so a little bit more money is coming in.
Snow, after snuggles with Charming, finds herself in a beautiful dress and a fancy city cocktail bar. She had a few days before her elder birthday at this point so I figured I'd get one more baby out of her - a last chance at a girl - but I forgot the household was actually at capacity and would be until Mim grew into a young adult and moved out.
So instead of worrying too much about this, Snow enjoyed a rare drink in a fancy bar, and had a lovely time.
Then, sure enough, not too much longer later, it was Mim's birthday. The traditional selfie taken, points were counted. Mim equalled Cinderella and Fergus with 9, after securing two adult traits - Responsible and Good Manners.
Then she was on the phone to Juanita, also now an adult, to arrange their new life together. I was so sad to see her go. I like her so much more than Sally :(
However, all things considered, she gets to enjoy the far better life of NOT churning out endless babies, especially as she prefers the ladies herself. She and Juanita moved in to a sweet cottage in Glimmerbrook, close to the magic school, to enjoy their witchy lives together.
Snow: hey. Hey. My life isn't so bad. Look how cute my kids are.
Come around to it, have you?
Snow: no. Shut up.
Anyway. By the time Mim moved out and a space became available in the house, Snow had just one day until her elder birthday, so I knew her next pregnancy - if I could make it happen in time - would be her last. I had recently gotten Snowy Escape and Snow took the final step in her evolution of 100 Baby Matriarch, from the tried and true method of picking up random men in bars, to literally just accosting the first one that walked past the house. Yes, friends...we have truly evolved to our final form. I mention Snowy Escape as this very pale Japanese man was the unfortunate soul in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
Masaru: what is happening. How did I end up in here. I was just going for a walk...
Masaru: Did I walk onto the set of a porn movie by mistake?
Whatever went through his little head, he got to enjoy a quickie with a random woman, and Snow received her final...deposit.
Right on time for Charming to fling himself out of his crib and require lots of time and attention.
Florian: hey. Barley, right? Don't go in there...Mum's busy.
Actually, though, she dispatched with Masaru rather quickly, having no further need of him, and settled back into the routine of childcare quite happily. With the pressure of baby-making officially off (she was already thinking about babies a lot, a sure sign she was pregnant despite not showing), Snow made some real progress in rearing her children, and I am hopeful of a few more points for some of the current batch.
Remy completed his Whiz Kid aspiration, getting us back on track as Sally didn't manage hers.
He was right on time for his birthday, and the moment of truth - would Lucas Munch's son look like a rat?
I forgot to take a CAS picture, but he DOES look vaguely mousey! Yes, this get up is on purpose, as he rolled Dance Machine for his trait, and his namesake is a rat and therefore does not really wear clothes to be inspired by. What's fun about this challenge is I would never usually use clothes like this; it was a reason to go outside my comfort zone with making over a Sim.
Shortly thereafter Barley had his birthday too. He rolled Rambunctious Scamp and Self-Assured, and is pretty cute I reckon.
Jack, my least favourite of all Snow's kids except maybe Remy simply because he is weird looking, despite his namesake being among my favourite ever characters and his status as both a twin and a child of Father Winter, cements my disdain of him by eating a spoiled meal autonomously and then complaining for hours that he feels sick.

Happily it is his birthday and we can get rid of him. While he finished his child aspiration he missed out on a couple of my usually secured toddler points and only managed one Parenthood trait, Responsible, which they pretty much all lock in just by doing their homework. Eight mediocre points rounds out a fairly mediocre life so far. He also rolls mean for his final trait, so he gets shipped off out of there IMMEDIATELY. Good riddance.
He'd managed to build a sliver of relationship with fancy dude on the left in the blue coat, so (to his embarrassment, it appears) he is summarily sent off to join them in their apartment. I know nothing about these Sims, not even their names, but their apartment is pretty swanky actually so Jack should be grateful.
Of course, because they're twins, Sally also had her YA birthday. She actually also managed 10 points, the highest score yet for any child of this challenge, which I guess is fitting for our potential heiress. I also do like her a little more than Jack. She has the same weird face shape, but pretty mid-toned blue eyes and I like her red hair. She doesn't move out, as if Snow's last baby isn't a girl, she'll be taking over. She rolled Proper for her last trait, which is whatever.
As for Snow, with her man-hunting days behind her, she finally settles in to some more writing, and I think wrote four or five books over the course of this chapter, for some decent cash in the coffers.
Oop, there it is! Confirmation my hunch was right, and Masaru got the job done.
Mim swung by for a visit not too long after Jack moved out.
Sally: so it's looking good that I'm taking over this ship, unless the new baby is a girl.
Mim: why would you want to? This challenge is completely insane.
Sally: yes, but I choose notoriety over happiness. I am just that kind of person.
Charming is still here. Despite me appearing to ignore him, he's actually done the best of any toddler so far, probably because Snow doesn't have to worry about looking for any more men. I think he'll probably easily break Sally's current points record.
Sally, actually, is in kind of a weird limbo. Until I know if she will be heiress or not she has to stay living here, and can't get either a proper job or a boyfriend. I've had her stay on in her barista role, figuring she makes such pittance it's not really cheating, but she'll have to quit even that if she takes over. She has been spending more time with childhood crush Noe Fabulous, though. I'm very fond of Izzy Fabulous' children - he had a boy called Darwin in my DITFT save file, who has become the spouse to my generation 2 heiress. Noe is this save file's equivalent, and will be either Sally's first baby daddy or her husband, depending on how things go.
Noe: I'll be her...her what?
Sally: never mind that, just kiss me.
Apparently I'm finally starting to get my shit together in this challenge, because Facilier finished his Whiz Kid aspiration quickly enough to make it worth picking a second aspiration for him. I don't think I'll finish it, but doesn't hurt to try. I chose Rambunctious Scamp, so he and Barley would be working on the same thing.
Amazingly, Sally also got promoted in her barista job. Unfortunately way too late for the points, but I'll take the little cash bonus, even if it might be a tad cheaty.
Oh God. This is too weird! Snow has been pregnant and age-frozen as a result so often that her oldest child, Simba, is now an elder before she is!
Though that age-freeze is about to be switched off for the very last time!
Snow: hi, ghost lady, am having thirteenth baby and need doctor.
Ghost receptionist: not sure you need a doctor by number thirteen, shouldn't you have it sorted by now? Anyway, head down the corridor, you chicken.
Snow: bitch, I'm here for the birth certificate.
What is it with everyone in this hospital being dead?
Snow: believe it or not ghost Doc, you are an improvement on the last one.
It's a girl!
Hahahahahahahahaha just kidding of course it's not. Another fucking boy. Who could have guessed.
Snow White's very final baby before she hands over the reins to Sally - now confirmed - is called Hiro, as a nod to his father's Japanese heritage. Hiro is the adorable protagonist of Big Hero Six, and truly excellent Disney movie that should get more love.
Like many of Snow's babies, Hiro learns about being left in the tender care of anyone but his mother real quick, as Snow takes Facilier, Barley, and Remy to the park. The younger boys needed to play on jungle gyms for their aspirations.
While Remy takes the opportunity to meet a very pretty girl. I didn't write her name down, but they hit it off immediately, despite her being wildly out of his league in my humble opinion.
Charming stays home with Sally, though entertains himself and actually got all his skills to level 5 around this time, something that I've not been even close to with any child so far.
Sally is only sort of babysitting though, as she has rather more important things on her mind...
I lost a few days of her young adulthood waiting for Hiro to come along, so I'm anxious for her to get started. I maybe was meant to wait until Snow is actually an elder, but don't worry, I didn't really cheat, as I don't think she fell pregnant anyway.
Yes, she's using Snow's bed. It's the only woohoo location on the lot. Why do you think I sent Snow to the park with the boys?
It's rather a shame Sally can't have a husband around to help, as Noe appears to have good instincts.
Finally, it's time to round out the chapter with a very important birthday. Snow, our long-suffering, long-complaining matriarch is ready to retire her uterus from duty. She invites many of her large family along to a local diner to celebrate.
Mostly she's just happy she can finally drink whatever she wants.
Cinderella is too busy being famous to come along, but we have Sally and Barley, Florian and even Bernardo, Snow's grandson from Simba.
Fergus is here too, along with a bunch of her other kids. Soon enough, it's time to blow out the candles on her cake.
Grey hair, sore back and all, Snow looks ecstatic to have reached elderhood.
Snow: THIRTEEN kids. I'm tired and I finally get to rest.
That you do, Snow.
And that brings us to the end of both this chapter and Snow's reign, as she now hands the responsibility over to her youngest daughter, Sally. Of her thirteen children, just three were girls, with ten boys, including the last five in a row, which I'm not best pleased with. She's raised eight to adulthood so far, Jack and Sally being the most recent. My plan for the next phase is to save for and buy a new house in a new neighbourhood (this will be the aim for each new heiress, to keep things interesting), and Snow will remain part of the household until she raises her youngest child, Hiro, to young adulthood, at which point she will retire back to Brindleton Bay (if she lives that long).
