3.14: Once Bitten, Twice Goodbye

 Welcome back to the Legend Legacy! It's been a hot minute...responsibilities and whatnot beckoned, and I'm not going to pretend I'm not one of those people who plays the Sims non-stop for three days then doesn't pick it up for months. Aren't we all one of those people? I have played through the file enough that I really need to get these posts out before I play again though, and I'm beginning to sense a Sims binge on the horizon...

So! Meet the heir of Generation 4!



Is it really a surprise? Odin made a good showing, but even vampirism wasn't enough to snatch the title from charismatic Loki and his bevy of love interests. You're a worthy successor, Loki, and I look forward to your shenanigans.





Said shenanigans begin with an outing to the city, where Loki visits the arts quarter for work. Look, it's been a hecking long time and I don't remember what he was trying to achieve, but he really liked the gold statue guy. Easily impressed, our Loki.





Back home, he continues to be impressed, but this time by boyfriend and major love interest Bruno aging up into a young adult!
Loki: Oh heck yes.

Bruno: Ow?



Loki: I would like to thank not only the Lord but also Jesus for I have been given the hottest of boyfriends. Amen. 



I'm not surprised he's impressed, this lifts the temporary embargo on their woohooing. Loki immediately dragged him to bed to celebrate his birthday. 
Oo-er.
Max: Bedroom's that-a-way, son. Please get out of the kitchen.





Bruno and Loki: Don't mind if we do.



Ophelia: congratulations, slutty grandson. He's a stone cold fox.

Loki: *sniff* Thanks Grandma Ophelia!



Meanwhile, Odin looks less than impressed at being overlooked for heir. 
Odin: I got bitten by a vampire. Loki had sex with a few people. I'M JUST SAYING.



Speaking of getting bitten by a vampire...



Mr Stark I don't feel so good...

 

Floating and eerie purple light. Not traditionally a good sign, I would have thought. Odin looks understandably alarmed. 



MR STARK I REALLY DON'T FEEL SO GOOD



Ominous.



URGH. Not cute!! I don't mind the spooky eyes, but is that goatee really necessary??



Odin: myyy goateeeee loooooks fiiinnnneee. Woooooo.
Max: trust me son, it does not.
Odin:...need more practice at that.



Seriously though, it's cool that we have a vampire in the family, even if he's not the heir! He's now immortal, I assume, so we'll have a Legend who sticks around and interacts with the Legacy from afar from here on in. For now though, he also needs to practice something fairly crucial to a vampire...



Hmm. Could have gone better.



Odin comes back to the house in time for this hilarious picture. He looks tired, Max and Kali have synchronized old person back aches, and Loki needs to pee. Everyone is very uncomfortable. Says it all, really!



Max is never unhappy for long though. Look at this adorable old man having a little boogie on his own, in his pants, in the kitchen.



It can't all be cute old, possible senile, dancing in the kitchen though. Odin is now full vampire and not the heir, and it's time for him to move on. The whole family come out to say goodbye.





There are loving parental hugs and Odin is on his way, the requisite funds deleted from the family account.



And Kali and Max return to a quieter house, although not much quieter given Loki is the heir and probably is about to move in Bruno and all his baby mommas. 
Max: well, one son is an undead terror and the other is really quite slutty. Oh and there's also the mad one that moved out a long time ago. But I'm happy.
Kali: at least they're not boring.

True that! And this brings us to the end of this chapter, a little on the short side perhaps as I get my bearings with the Legends again, but fear not! We have not seen the last of Odin. The next chapter will be an interlude, so we'll see where not only he settles down, but also catch up with Thor and some of the extended family too! Tune in next time for more adventures!
